We can guide you as you journey through the path of overcoming addiction.

Most people fall into addiction as a way of coping with the problems and challenges that they are facing in life. Some, due to peer pressure try addictive substances while others use it to escape from their problems than deal with them. It gives an addict a sense of temporary elation or euphoria hence the word “high”. Addiction is not just a physical dependence on substances like alcohol and drugs. It is as much as psychological, emotional, and social as it is physical. Thus, apart from detox treatment, the most vital step is deciding on quitting drugs and steadfastly deciding to stick with that decision. A lot of people begin to quit only to get back to the habit. Needless to say, it takes a lot of patience, self-restraint, and self-discipline.
If you are suffering from addiction and want to quit; we are here to help you. Our therapists will work with you to help you deal with your addiction. They are trained in using various forms of therapy to suit your needs.
If you or a loved one is struggling with addiction, C.C.C. Counseling Services understands how difficult it is to ask for help.

The Victim is able to see their lifestyle choices and what they have done to themselves. When they truly understand the impact that their drug addiction dependence has done to them and others who love them, they may truly begin to want to make a change.
“Are you an Addict?”
You are the only person that can answer this question.
Asking “am I an addict?”, is a painful question to ask your self. Have you ever told yourself; “I can handle it.”, “I can stop whenever I want”… Even at first, if this were true, it’s not anymore.
The drugs handle us. Very simply, an addict is a person whose life is controlled by drugs.
Perhaps you admit you have a problem with drugs, but you don’t consider yourself an addict.
All of us have preconceived ideas about what an addict is.
Symptoms of Addiction
- The biggest symptom of addiction is the inability to limit use of a substance or activity beyond need leading to clinically significant impairment.
- There is a craving or compulsion to use the substance or activity.
- Recurrent use of the drug or activity escalates to achieve the desired effect, indicating tolerance.
- Attempts to stop usage produce symptoms of withdrawal—irritability, anxiety, shakes, nausea.
- Recurrent use of the substance or activity impairs work, social, and family responsibilities, creates psychological impairments and interpersonal problems, has negative effects of heath mood, self-respect, exacerbated by the effects of the specific substance itself.

Is it Time for an Intervention?
An intervention is a process that helps a person addicted to drugs be able to see the extent of their problem.
The victims of addiction usually don’t realize their addiction has taken over. They Surround themselves with others that do not see the addiction being wrong or are addicted themselves.
They are not able to see the drastic measures they are willing to take to get their drug of choice or how dependent they have become. Some individuals may have even told them selves,”It’s a life I enjoy”, These Victims need objective feedback on their behavior.
Loved ones, Family Friends, and individuals that the victim may look up to and or respect are perfect candidates to be present for the victims intervention.
